Product Description

Our Wet Feet program is designed to teach your young sailor the fundamentals of sailing in a safe and fun environment. Taught by our Sail Canada certified instructors, campers will spend half the day sailing small dinghies, while the other half will be spent on land participating in activities such as keelboat sailing with an instructor onboard, arts and crafts, games, and other activities related to sailing. Sailing in the protected waters of the Toronto Islands, your child will learn terminology, balance, basic boat handling, and knots, increasing their confidence around the water.

A typical day at IYC:

8:30-8:45     Drop off at Dan Leckie Way tender
8:45-9:00     Private ferry to IYC
9:00-10:00     Lessons and rigging
10:00-12:00     Morning sailing session
12:00-13:00     Lunch
13:00- 15:00     Afternoon sailing session
15:00-16:00     De-rig and de-brief
16:00- 16:15     Ferry back to Dan Leckie Way
16:15-16:30     Camper pick up

Session 1: July 4th to 7th – ($240) + HST *No classes on Canada Day, July 3rd, 2017
Session 2: July 10th to 14th – ($300) + HST
Session 3: July 17th to 21st – ($300) + HST
Session 4: July 24th to 28th – ($300) + HST
Session 5: July 3st 1 to August 4th – ($300) + HST
Session 6: August 8th to August 11th – ($240) + HST *No classes on Civic Holiday, August 7th, 2017
Session 7: August 14th to August 18th – ($300) + HST
Session 8: August 21th to 25th – ($300) + HST
Session 9: August 28th to September 1st – ($300) + HST
